This project was designed and produced on the covid-19 pandemic:
Through a health and well-being perspective. I think of a post-pandemic world on one of the most dense cities in the world, which has suffered terrible consequences since the outbreak.
How will programatic necessities adapt through design premises that can sustain a better way of living. As architects we must advocate for solutions.
An analysis of the Mexico Valley appointed Tacubaya as a region susceptible to chaos in consequence in of density, waste, pollution, lack of open spaces and infrastructure.
The food market will be affected hence evolve towards a cleaner methodology of chain supply. I envision this market as an educational prototype for Tacubaya residents to take a clean practice to their homes.
The food we bring to our tables affects our body, mind and performance. A space that demonstrates a friendly environment and a positive relationship with food trade, will naturally lead to a healthier, happier life.
A fresh programme that prioritizes open spaces, air circulation and hygene, will respond positively to this new reality.
